We are currently looking for a Developer/Analyst with Business Objects experience to join our growing team. The developer will be responsible for handling reports and analysis using Business Objects. Developers will also handle installation, configuration, and management of all the components of Business Objects including Business Objects Reporting, Designer and Supervisor. Developers will create Universes for different functionality and create reports using: queries, slice and dice, drill down, cross tab, master detail, and/or formulas. Other responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing data warehouses/data marts using other BI tools, ETL Tools, and databases such as Oracle, DB2, and SQL Server.
Profile:
- 5+ years of IT experience working with data solutions.
- 2+ years of experience with BO XI R2 and products like Universe Designer, WebiXIr2, Xcelsius.
- Solid experience developing applications with Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2.
- Creating Business Objects reports including experience with scheduling, delivery and retention policy
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ready and willing to work in projects located in other geographies (Arabian Gulf, Middle East & Africa).
Skills Required:
- Database programming, design, and modeling experience
- Data extraction and manipulation experience
- Experience with ETL Tools (such as Informatica)
- Experience in data replication, extraction, loading and cleansing
- Reporting and OLAP experience with other BI Tools including Brio or Cognos
- Business Objects Enterprise Certified Professional (BECP), Business Objects Accredited Report Designer or Business Objects Accredited System Administrator desirable
- Experience with Business Objects SDK and/or Web Intelligence SDK a plus
Education Needed:
- Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in Engineering /Information Technology
