Profile:
- Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration with a strong knowledge on installation, upgrade and administration of Oracle Databases 10g ,11g and/or Oracle High Availability Database Activities.
- Ready and willing to work in projects located in other geographies (Arabian Gulf, Middle East & Africa).
Skills Required:
- Installation, Upgrade and Administration of Oracle Databases on various Operating Systems.
- Work experience on High Availability Database Environments including Oracle Data Guard
- Backup and Recovery through RMAN
- Oracle Grid and OEM
- Management and Support to large database centers having multiple production databases
- Strong experience on Database Performance Tuning
- Unix OS and File system management for Databases
- Good knowledge on Oracle Application Server Management
- Managing E-Business environments is advantageous
- Strong analytical and technical skills to understand database design requirements
- Effectively control security, Monitor and audit databases
- Self-Sufficiency and initiative working on various Database projects
- Excellent Communication & Presentation Skills
- Excellent Team player
- Ability to work under pressure
Education Needed:
- Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in Engineering/ Information Technology
