Job Title: Microsoft Practice Head (Code: MSP0410)

    Profile:


  • Participate in practice leadership discussion on organization’s future direction and plans
  • Contribute to the business development activities of the practice/organization
  • Provide inputs to other practice areas to develop integrated organization wide programs and initiatives
  • Assist the SI practice leadership in achieving practice targets
  • Create and execute program plans covering large/multiple projects and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope creep
  • Review deliverables schedule prepared by team and ensure QA before transmittal to client
  • Effectively apply identified methodology and enforce project standards
  • Assist in developing business plans for practice
  • Assist Implementation practice leadership in managing relationships with systems vendors and systems integrators, etc as appropriate
  • Manage multiple projects and clients
  • Ensure client related delivery objectives are achieved
  • Assist practice leadership in managing the process of keeping collateral (methodology, training and other collateral) current and up-to-date
  • Assist practice leadership in facilitating and managing the process of development of IP within practice area
  • Develop and manage effective risk management and quality programs for practice area
  • Develop lasting relationships with client personnel
  • Possess general understanding in the areas of programming, database and system design
  • Possess in-depth understanding of user requirements, conference room pilots, user acceptance tests and go-live situations
  • Maintain awareness of new and emerging technology and its potential application on client engagements.
  • Knowledge of modern office/IT environments including e-safety/security and other office procedures and practices
  • General knowledge of economy/industry and awareness of company goals
  • Willing to work on a ‘On-site-Off-shore’ model in India and in other countries as required by the Project

    Skills Required:
  • Complete understanding of systems implementation life cycle
  • Possess a thorough understanding of organizational capabilities
  • Maintain awareness of new and emerging technology and its potential application on client engagements.
  • Demonstrated ability of design, development, testing and roll-out of large systems implementation programs managing day-to-day client relationships managing time/quality and team management
  • leading teams of professionals, career counseling and mentoring ;understanding client requirements and  setting up demonstrations, walk-throughs, CRP/UAT sessions etc
  • Project productivity tools like project management, bug reporting, issue tracking
  • Understanding the quality metrics parameters and tracking it throughout the lifecycle of the project

    Education Needed:
  • Post Graduate Qualification in Systems or Management
