Profile:
- Candidates should have at least 5+ years of experience in Sun Server /Linux Server and stand 2+ years of experience in Oracle Exadata Storage and Server . strong knowledge in one or more of the following:
- Exadata Storage Server Architecture and Concepts .
- Exadata Storage Configuration and administration.
- Exadata Performance Tuning and Monitoring.
- Planned Maintenance Operations and Failure Handling.
- Oracle Exadata Storage Server Migration .
- Oracle Exadata Storage Server and I/O Resource Management.
- Oracle Exadata Backup and Recovery with Database Machine.
- Solaris and Linux OS administration experience .
- Experience in preparing environments for 11gR1 and 11gR2 high availability database architecture
- Solution Design ,Capacity Planning and strong skills on the consolidation strategy
- Ready and willing to work in projects located in other geographies (Arabian Gulf, Middle East & Africa).
- Ability to work under short deadlines
Skills Required:
- 5+ years of experience in Sun Server and Linux Servers .
- 3+ years of Storage administration
- 2+ yrs of experience in Administration and operation of exadata storage server
- Should have strong knowledge in exadata implementation and storage migration.
- Solution Design ,Capacity Planning and strong skills on the consolidation strategy
- Good Presentation Skills
- Exadata Implementation Certification.
Education Needed:
- Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in Information Technology/Business Management
