Profile:
- Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration with a strong knowledge on installation, upgrade and administration of SQL Server Databases on large systems.
- Ready and willing to work in projects located in other geographies (Arabian Gulf, Middle East & Africa).
Skills Required:
- Strong experience on SQL Server Database installation, Upgrade and Administration
- Practical experience on High Availability Database Environments including replication
- Backup and Recovery of various versions of SQL Server Databases
- Strong experience on Database Performance Tuning
- Good preference for experienced in SQL Server 2008
- Strong analytical and technical skills to understand database design requirements
- Self-Sufficiency and initiative working on Database projects
- Management and Support SQL database centers with several production databases
- Practical experience in managing internal and external MS SQL database security
- Managing Oracle Databases is advantageous
- Excellent Communication & Presentation Skills
- Excellent Team player
- Ability to work under pressure
- SQL Administration knowledge in areas of backup/ restore activities, login/ Security Group/ Roles administration, basic replication troubleshooting, Log-shipping/ SQL Agent Job/ DTS/ BCP handling.
- Experience on working with SQL Server Clusters is mandatory
Education Needed:
- Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in Engineering/ Information Technology

- Arabic
